Emergency Assistance

We provide emergency assistance to those facing housing challenges including evictions and utility shutoffs and can offer help with security deposits. We provide small emergency support in the form of gift cards on a case by case basis. Emergency assistance volunteers can be reached between 9 am and 5 pm Monday – Friday at 301-371-3119.

Middletown Food Bank

The Middletown Valley Food Bank’s (MVFB) goal is to alleviate hunger in our community by soliciting, collecting and distributing food and personal supplies through a food pantry located at 301 West Main Street, Middletown, Maryland. The food bank is supported by the local Zion Lutheran Church and other community organizations.

***COVID-19 UPDATE***

All clients are required to wear a mask. We ask clients to line up outside by the front door on Main Street as you await an available volunteer to serve your needs. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

2022/2023 School Supply Drive

Our annual School Supply Drive provides students with backpacks and basic schools supplies each back to school season. We will be having our distribution in early August 2022.

Transportation

Contact 301-371-3119 to schedule transportation to local medical appointments. We now require our clients to be able to independently get in and out of the vehicle without assistance. The individual using our service, or their caregiver, will need to sign a waiver verifying their independent mobility as well as our volunteer program for transportation through MVPHP.

Meals on Wheels

At present, Meals on Wheels deliveries are managed by Frederick Transit.
